United Women in Faith (UWIF)

One hands on mission event is packing food blessings in a backpack for those who need additional food assistance in the Grand Ledge School District. Missions
Meet on a roughly every other month frequency. Main objective include planning the Ice Cream Social, Soul-O-Senior Events, and determine monthly mission focuses for the congregation. This body also participates in the EngageMI program (link) through the Michigan Conference of the United Methodist church.
Ice Cream Social:
Annually Delta Mills hosts an Ice Cream Social that is an opportunity to gather and enjoy summer treats and fellowship. Entrance is a free will donation that goes directly to the Missions Programming of the congregation.
Soul-O-Senior:
invitation only meal for our single parishioners and friends. This is a great time for those who may experience loneliness of being a single person, and provides a warm meal and hospitable environment to connect and build relationships with one another.
Community Meal:
Delta Mills partners with four other churches in the Grand Ledge Community to provide a free meal for 9 months of the year to whoever shows up, the first Wednesday of the month at Grand Ledge First United Methodist Church. (see events page for more information).

Radio Worship
Feeling under the weather or maybe immunocompromised? Join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 11:00am in the parking lot. Tune your radio to 93.1FM and join the service that occurs on the second level of the building. Bulletins are available in the West Entrance and there is a sign-in sheet available to “check-in” with us. On Communion Sundays (most often the first Sunday of the month), individual communion cups are available to receive the sacrament.
Special Worship Services
Periodically the churches in the Grand Ledge Community partner for ecumenical worship services. We annual gather to worship together on Good Friday and for a Thanksgiving Worship Service. Those worship services collect an offering for the Grand Ledge Emergency Assistance Program (GLEAP) and Grand Ledge Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Food Bank. Both services rotate their locations at one of the partnering churches. The partnering congregations include: Grand Ledge First UMC, Wacousta Community UMC, First Congregational United Church of Christ Grand Ledge, Trinity Episcopal Church of Grand Ledge, St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, and Immanuel Lutheran Church.
